Yuma County did not enact a local ban before the statewide ban, and has not since the statewide ban was lifted.
Residents should stay vigilent as always to the summertime fire danger that exists, and take appropriate precautions if they choose to start a fire for agricultural burning, grilling, or the use of a fire pit for leisure.
